Fun DYI activities with kids

Posted on April 22, 2016

Try these fun activities with your child. It is always great to bond over crafting something lovely together. As a bonus, it will help to develop your kid’s creativity and help you de-stress.

Wear flowers in your hair

With everything blooming, springtime calls for flower crowns. Making a flower crown is easy and fun. Once your pretty crafts are ready, you can organise an outdoor photoshoot wearing your flower crowns. Once you master your crown-making skills, you can try using real flowers.

We recommend: Flower Crowns Kit £10 at Hobbycraft

Cherish your memories

Let your kid pick her/his favourite pictures. Put them in a white collage frame. This will remind you of the happy times together. You can also spice it up by painting the frame a bright colour.

We recommend: White Opening Collage £10 and acrylic paint £2 at Hobbycraft

Chalkboard flower pots

With spring’s arrival, you may want to see more flowers around your house. Team up with your child to paint ordinary pots with chalkboard paint. You can then use the pots to leave each other sweet messages in colourful chalks.
